April 2012 - Francis Chartier, former Centredale volunteer, passed away on April 28, 2012. Our condolences to his family. Francis' son Dave is a Captain on the Smithfield FD and also a former NPFD call firefighter.
March 2012 - Marc Bazzle, brother of Lt. Eric Bazzle (retired), passed away suddenly on March 23, 2012, at age 43. Our condolences to his family.
Feb 29, 2012 - Capt Greg Unsworth, NPFD Fire Marshal and former call firefighter at Geneva, passed away on Feb 29, 2012, at age 46 from job-related cancer. Our condolences to his family and to the department.
Aug 25, 2011 - Joe Grimes, former Centredale volunteer, passed away on Aug 25, 2011. Our condolences to his family. Joe and his son Jim first rescued the 1960 Maxim Ladder 1 by purchasing it when the town sold it, c2005. Later they sold it to Capt David Giammarco, who has done further restoration.

Sep 29, 2009 - It is with the heaviest of hearts that we acknowledge the death of Rev. Kenneth D. Erickson, retired career and call FF and Providence FD chaplain. He passed away unexpectedly last night. Arrangements will be posted when they are made known. We will always love you and miss you, Ken. Rest easy, brother.
